What We Fish

Here at Bogg Outfitters, we offer premier sport fishing opportunities for all of the target sport fish species in Alaska. Our boats are fully equipped to target halibut, both pelagic and non-pelagic rockfish, ling cod, and the three primary salmon sport fish species, chinook, coho, and sockeye. We know how to fish the waters we operate in, we fish them everyday, and we are knowledgeable in the various fishing methods to successfully target Alaskan sport fish species. We have top of the line halibut gear, we both troll and mooch for salmon in the salt water, as well as offer fresh water fishing experiences with spin reels or fly fishing rods. Our versatility in what we do and our knowledge of the area that we operate in allows for us to successfully cater to your fishing preferences as well as create opportunities for successful fishing on bad weather days. 

Because fishing is such a big part of who we are and what we do, we provide free fish processing up to a 50lb box of fish filets per person. Additional fish processing is charged at $2lb.

Our Boat

Our boat comfortably fishes up to 6 people and is outfitted with good and effective fishing gear for mid/deep fishing, trolling and spin fishing in freshwater systems. The heated cabin and private bathroom on the boat help to ensure a comfortable day on the water and given your captain’s knowledge and experience of the fishing area we can typically be successful in calmer and more protected waters even on bad weather days.
